Darren Simpson also known as "Whackhead" is well known as the prankster on 94.7 Highveld stereo. In 2004 and 2005, 94.7 Highveld Stereo released The Best of Whackhead's Phone Pranks on CD. Both CDs celebrated gold status. Darren "Whakhead" Simpson has been been part of the 94.7 breakfast team for several years.

We've seen Darren live on stage at some of SA's biggest comedy gigs, on M-Net Laugh Out Loud, the Late Show with Darren Scott, on Clipz, and SABC3's Comedy Showcase.
